One of our big clients Downtown Renaissance by Marriott contacted us in December to concept a new style for their indoor signs. After a great deal of thought and walking the hotel for a couple hrs, we came up with a great modern clean and classy brushed aluminum sign that they loved.
1st we sketched the outside of the hotel and then turned it into line art that was the focal point of all the signs.
Once the sketch was complete we turned it into a nice vector line art that we then etched into the brushed aluminum signs. Once the etch was on we then screen printed in solid black ink all the info, way finding instructions that was needed for every sign. The signs turned out to perfection and really raised the bar from there previous plastic signs that we replaced.

2) With aluminum there are several ways to embellish the material. You can engrave the metal, digitally print them, screen print them, stamp out info or logos in the metal signs. You can also raise them off surface your mounting them on which gives them great dimension. Die cutting them in unique shapes or logos always is a great way to make them stand out or you can do a combination of any of these embellishment ideas.
