Our latest LED sign project was fun, rewarding but also a great challenge!
The challenge was how to install the sign on a very large curved building face while making it strong enough to withstand and weather or wind. The curve was not the only issue, as we had to create and design a way for the sign to be installed securely onto the curve while keeping everything level and looking amazing.
After much thought, sketches and ideas we came up with extremely strong way to make the curved aluminum supports. These supports were cut with notches and inserts then welded with T ends to fasten it to the curved corrugated aluminum building. Look at some of the plans fab work below to get an understanding of all that went into this sign.
Once we got the foundation and plan in place the next step was working on all the building the sign permit plans and sending them to the city.
process was a breeze and rest went smooth sailing from there. After we got the sign plans approved by city it went to fabrication of the sign and all the components that were to make up the sign. This is the fun part where you really start seeing the vision of your sign design plan come to fruition! C

The whole process was about 8 weeks because we had to cut so many template samples to get the curve just right for the supports to fit snug on the curve.
